About Bernice
Bernice (she/her) is a rising multidisciplinary scenic artist born and raised in Southern California. She began at Cal Poly Pomona where she received her B.A. in Design and Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Scenic Design. Just after graduation, she took her knowledge to Seattle Rep Theatre where she studied and worked as their scenic paint apprentice for their 2025-2026 season. She has been more than elated to work under such talented and passionate leadership, learning skills far beyond paint, such as, but not limited to, adaptability, finances, and delegation.
In her future she hopes to lean towards the film industry where she can work under the art department. There are many films and filmmakers to thank that aided in this decision. With that, she believes it's important to note some of these films: La La Land (2016), 1917 (2019), Little Women (2019), and The Truman Show (1998).
In her free time, Bernice loves to try new cafes, journal, and play with her two dogs.
