About Bernice
Bernice (she/her) is a rising multidisciplinary scenic artist born and raised in Southern California. She began at Cal Poly Pomona where she received her B.A. in Design and Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Scenic Design. After graduating, she spent a year as a Scenic Paint Apprentice at Seattle Rep, where she also dabbled in designing and drafting. She is now looking forward to spend a season at The Juilliard School as a Scenic Paint Apprentice, working under talented leadership.
In her future she hopes to lean towards the film industry where she can work under the art department. There are many films and filmmakers to thank that aided in this decision. With that, she believes it's important to note some of these films: La La Land (2016), 1917 (2019), Little Women (2019), and The Truman Show (1998).
In her free time, Bernice loves to try new cafes, journal, and build legos.
